Here is one of the other things I received
in the last order. These pipe plugs from
Earl's
are made out of Aluminum and anodized. The ones on the left are
3/8" pipe and the other is 1/2" pipe. I bought three of the
later ones. These also have a recessed hex which takes an Allen wrench
to install them. I'll be using these on the intake manifold and some
other places on the block. I might not keep them the blue color but
we'll see what happens later.

Here is the last thing in the box
which are spark plug wires.
Taylor
makes all kinds of wires and I choose the Spiro Pro series. Now these
are a universal set of wires which means I have to cut and fit each wire
but that's what I wanted so I could run each one where I wanted.

Spiro-Wound wires consists of a high
conductivity resistor conductor spiral wound with stainless steel wire
and covered with a conductive fluorocarbon material. Spiro-Pro
wires provide more fire power to the spark plugs than OEM resistor core
wires and still eliminate radio frequency interference (RFI) which can
interfere with electronic ignitions, computer electronics, cellular
telephones and stereo systems. This wire is a must if you are using a
multiple spark discharge ignition system (like I will be using). Here
are some of the specs:
- Maximum fire power without radio interference
- Provides up to 10 times less resistance than
standard resistor core wire
- A must for electronic ignitions, on board
computers, stereos and pit radios
- 100% silicone inner and outer jacket provides
heat protection up to 600°F
- Taylor pro boots - low profile silicone boots
with grips
- Double spring locking spark plug terminals
- Universal sets available in 10 colors with
matching silicone pro boots
I also liked the color and they should match some other
pieces when I'm done.
