The doors have hidden hinges which are
made of stainless steel. The glass is tinted but only a small amount (you can see what I mean if you look
close). All of the glass looks like
this but I think I'll tint it a little more before I'm done. Notice the
door panel attached to the door. This was an option which is called an upholstery
package. The panels are made of 1/8 thick fiberglass and are held in
place with small clips like most modern cars have. This makes it easy to
put upholstery on when I'm ready for it. The doors aren't the only
panels that come with this package. The whole inside has panels like the
door has and they all have the little clips too. I went with the power windows and will also put
power door locks on later.

This is looking in from the open door and
you can see all the panels that come with it. It's not much to look at
yet but it should get better soon. Notice the door latch on the far
right. Now the front is facing to the right which means the car
will have suicide doors (opens the other way than normal). It will take
some getting use to when getting in I'm sure.

This is looking at the dash from about
where I will be sitting... someday. I had two choices when ordering the
dash. This one, which is smooth or one like the original car had.
The original one had two recesses on each side that were for the gages
and glove box. I thought I would go with the smooth one because it
allowed me more freedom to do what I wanted. If I had went with the
other, I would be limited to where I could mount gages or whatever so
this should work out better.

Now you can see just how much of a windshield
I will be looking through. Not much....is there. I guess it's another
thing to get use too. The windshield motor will be mounted in the area
above the opening where the windshield goes. That gives me an idea of
some other stuff that might end up there too.
