This is where I placed the knob to
open the hood (passenger side). It fits nicely under the dash out of
the way. If your wondering why it's not closer to the right, it's
because once I get the roll cage installed, one of the tubes will run
down the "A" pillar next to the door. I'm just looking ahead
so I don't have to move it later.

Here is the three piece hood all
finished. All I need to do now is a little fitting here and there to fit
the body lines better. Some of the gaps are to big and some are to close. Fitting
panels can be a real pain sometimes so I hope I can catch a break and
have this part go smoothly.

What I'm doing here is getting ready
to run some wires to the front of the car which will be used for the
headlights, turn signals, horn, electric cooling fan and maybe one other
thing. The wires will be run through the frame rail for a cleaner look. I first
drilled a 1/8" diameter hole and then stepped it up to a 1/4".
I then used a 15/16" diameter hole saw and cut the hole and then
installed a rubber grommet.

I placed the wires inside this split
tubing and then ran it through the frame rail to the front of the car.
This took awhile because I didn't remove the exhaust so things were
cramped to say the least.
