These small LED lights will be used for my left and right turn indicators along with a high-beam light. They are only 3/16" in diameter which is very small but are very bright for there size. Let's get them installed and see how everything looks.

Last but not least, we have all the lights for the gages. I cut and soldered them all together and then put heat-shrink tubing on all the joints. I know it looks like just a bunch of wires but it works great.

Here is what it looks like finished. My speedometer and tachometer are 5" and all the others are 2 1/16" in diameter. I put the shift-light in the middle of the two larger gages, up near the top so I could see it better. You'll have to look close to see the indicator lights right below the speedo and tach. I'm happy with how they came out and now I'm ready to install some switches for the rest of my electrical stuff.

While I was in the wiring mode, I needed to install a fan relay for my electric fan. If I were using a fan that was driven off the water pump, then I wouldn't need one. This is made by Painless like my wiring harness is and the two integrate together nicely if your going to use an electric fan. Why a relay? A relay is used to take the load off a switch that may not be rated for large amounts of amperage (like electric fans can draw). This way you can use just about any style of switch, big or small that you want and not short it out or fear that it fail prematurely. The larger wire goes to the battery which is connected to the relay. The smaller wire is an actuator wire, that goes to your switch, that tells the relay to kick-in to give juice to your fan. Painless recommends mounting it somewhere near the fan.
