One more thing that's finished.
Here is what the finished wiring looks
like. After all the cutting and fitting along with the six wire-clamps
per side, I'm happy with it. Now after making the headers and fitting
the plug wires, I noticed how close the spark plugs were to the header tubes
on number three and four cylinders. I had a hard time trying to tighten
some of the plugs but those two were even harder. So I decided to make a
tool that would allow me to gain better access to them.

Here is what I came up with. A spark
plug socket is just a little to long and a 3/8 drive regular depth socket is just a little to
short so I thought something in-between would work good. First thing I
had to do was sacrifice a 5/8" socket for this job.

By welding on a piece of mild steel
that was 1/8" X 1" X 5" long, I would have a wrench that
would be able to work with my setup. Now the 5/8" socket is made
for a 1/2" drive. The reason for this and not a 3/8" drive is
because the larger one lets the end of the spark plug go through it. I
also put the handle on at a slight angle to be able to move without
busting up my knuckles.

As you can see the new wrench fits
easily and works great. This was an easy tool to make and will save me
some headaches later.
