33 Coupe Having Fun 28        10/17/06

It was a beautiful day for a car show over at a park in Riverside, Ca. a few weeks ago. The show was the "1st. Annual Mike Bayer Classic" held on Sept. 24th. The morning was very cool and the grass in the park was very wet from all the dew that morning. If you look closely, most of the tires have grass stuck to them but as the day went on, most of it fell off.

Gary and Debbie weren't able to go so it was just Larry and I this time. The turn-out was pretty good and from what I heard, the weather was great compared to past years. I guess it rained the last two years which made for lousy attendance, but this year didn't disappoint.

The raffle was very big and they had 10 specialty prizes that you could try to win. What you did was put one or more of your raffle tickets in a bucket which was placed in front of each special prize. Or you could just go for the general raffle which had a lot of cool stuff too. They also had a 50/50 raffle as well. After all the tickets were bought and placed into their appropriate containers, I took a few pictures and enjoyed the show.

This show must be well known for having some very nice cars because almost all of them were stunning.

I don't know the year but this car was gorgeous.

This Chevy II Nova was very clean and reminds me of Gary's when I first met him, except for the color.

Simple, clean and a mostly stock Chevy truck.

A nice clean Chevelle and Camaro side-by-side.
