33 Coupe Having Fun 26        9/03/06

I'm not sure if it's a 36 or 37 but either way, its one nice hot rod with an LS1 making the power.

A 69 Z28 Camaro and a GTO to round out most of the cars that were there that day.

Larry brought his easy-up for us to sit under and although it looks like it's fallen over, it really hasn't. The sun was behind us so we adjusted two legs to give us some shade. When it's 95 to 100 degrees outside, you make shade anyway you can.

The way they do the awards at Sunnymead Hamburgers is by giving out for the best years of cars, like best 20's, best 30's, all the way up to best 70's. Larry won the best 70's car so a big congratulations go out to him and his 71 Camaro  I didn't hear my name being called when my year came up but the last award of the night went out to me because it was the judges "personal" pick of the night.

Larry and I had a good time that night as we both won awards, had a good meal and got to see a bunch of nice cars. The plaques that were handed out were nice and you can either hang them or just put it on your desk.

Two weeks later, Larry and I  went to another show over at Bob's Big Boy and he had a surprise for me that day. He gave me a clock with my car on the face. Now how cool is that!! A guy Larry knows took a picture of my car at a show a few weeks earlier but I didn't think anything of it at first. Turns out the guy has a business putting a picture of whatever you own (car, motorcycle or whatever) on either a clock, magnetic signs, cards or a number of other goodies. Pretty cool idea.

A big thank you goes out to Larry for giving me this great looking wall clock. And what time is it you ask? Time to go cruis'n to another car show!!
