It's Finished Continued
That knot was planned by Tracey to give it some character. I also
gave the top edge of the oil bottle side-wall a nice roundover so it's user
friendly.

The bottles sit nicely on these shelves
and are very stable.

|
Pretty looking piece of wood.

|
There are 52 dowels in each spice rack. This was one reason these took
so long to make.
|
|
There is a total of 64 screws in it as well. As things settled and
dried, I had to massage some of these screw holes.
|
|
I'm glad I took the time to rework the height of these pieces because I
think that reveal gives it a nicer look now in place of being flush with
the top.
|
|
All the joints came out nice and tight.

|
Here are both spice racks side-by-side. This was a
really time consuming project which took several months to complete.
However, I didn't work on them much in December because I was making
some
Christmas presents for my
grandkids. But in the end, I'm happy with how they turned out. And I
hope Tracey's friend will be happy with hers as well.

What It Looks Like On The Wall
Date 3-2024
Tracey put some LED candles in a few places which does
two things: first it looks cool and they hide the mounting bolts near
the top. If you're wondering about those candles that look like their
floating, they're hanging from strings. Tracey thought they looked
whimsical along with the lights and leaves around the perimeter of the
spice rack.
