Here is where I'm going to mount the switch, which is right behind my license plate. I had Bart recess my license plate and then behind that is my new switch. This way when I want to play at the track, all I have to do is remove four bolts and one wire to have fun. I can place the license plate behind my seat when I'm at the track and then reinstall it before I go home.

Here is a close-up of what it looks like. There's plenty of room to get your hand in there to turn it and nobody will ever know that it's there. I just didn't want the switch to be on the back of this panel with the T-handle sticking out (which isn't the best looking in my opinion). Besides, people like to mess with you and turn these off when your not looking but with it mounted here, I shouldn't have that problem.

With the tail lights and license plate in place now, it's starting to look like a car again. When the car gets buffed for the last time, I'll remove the tail lights so it's easier to buff this panel because they only have two bolts and two wires to remove.

At the beginning of the build, I accumulated a bunch of paperwork for everything that I bought and for other things like notes that I've made along the way (top left). I needed a place to store them so I started putting all those papers into 3-ring notebooks the first few months after I started the project. By putting the papers into plastic sleeves, these would keep my dirty hands from putting oily finger prints on them. I refer to these notebooks from time to time and had to again while I was installing my hood latch handles that mount on the interior of the car (bottom right). It's a nice way to keep things organized.

At this time, the car is back over at Bart's place to do the final buffing. He said I should be able to pick it up on Tuesday and then it's just a mater of putting a few things on it and it should be good to go. On the trip over to Bart's place, which is only a couple of miles away, it was nice to here the engine run again. To me, the trip was way to short but that might be a good thing. As soon as I pulled into his booth and then shut the engine off, we talked for about one minute and then........whoooossss!!  We were both right next to the car when hot water started spraying all over the place. Now what??? After all the steam cleared away, I found that my bottom radiator hose had came off. It's a good thing that Bart didn't live any farther away or I would have had a real problem. I'll have to put this back on but the question that keeps going through my mind is.....why? I tightened this down but I guess it wasn't' tight enough. Now the visions of me breaking down keeps running through my head. I guess everyone has those thoughts from time to time and for me it's right now. All I can say is.....let's tighten some clamps and let'r buck!!
