The day started off with a little trouble as I couldn't open my hood for
some reason. If you notice it's opened the opposite way that I normally
do because the other side was stuck. During the week I worked on it and
found that both sides were all gummed up with corrosion but after a
little cleaning and some grease, it works better than ever now. The
food we had was really good, the weather couldn't have been better that
day and we both had a really good time. But it gets even better.

Holy crap I'm famous!!
This is the entry form that you have to fill out which
had my car on it. This picture was taken at last years Optimist show by
a professional photographer that the they hired to cover the event that
year. He took a lot of pictures of my car that day which included me
moving it so he could shoot it at different angles but I had no idea
that it would end up on the entry form.
On the back of this form is what you fill out to enter
the show and which category you need to be in according to what make and
year your car is.

Here are the dash plaques that were given out that day
which had the same picture. They have a magnetic backing and are 3" X 4"
in size. Mine is on the refrigerator at the moment!

Yeah...you guessed it...on the T-shirts as well. I
could hardly believe it!! I ended up buying two more at the end of the
day...just because.

And if the day couldn't have gotten any better, I won an award for "Best
Hot Rod" which is a huge honor for that class because there are so many
to chose from. All I can say is... wow, what a great day this was!!
