Here are the T-6's in action which were very cool to
watch.

This is a wingwalker by the name of Margaret Silvers which entertained
the crowd with a few different passes. With the temps in the low 50's
and the plane going about 80 to 100 mph, I'm pretty sure her face was
dame cold.

This was the only bike display at the show. Ducati's are
known for the speed and handling so in other words it's a hot rod with
only two wheels.

Now that's what I'm talk'n about, a P-51 Mustang which is my all time
favorite aircraft. I had no idea that one would be here because the
program didn't list it. Now I've made many parts for all different kinds
of aircrafts over the years and you would think I'd favor the ones I've
made over something like this, but there's something very special about
the P-51 that just says it all...at least to me. This aircraft was
pivotal in World War II as a fighter bomber, reconnaissance aircraft and
a bomber escort. With six wing mounted .50 caliber machine guns, a
two-stage supercharged engine, the Mustang was one of the most
successful airplanes ever made.

That huge four blade prop rips through the air with that 12 cylinder Rolls
Royce Merlin engine and if you've ever head one, you'd never forget it
because it's different than anything else in the air. Little did I
know at the time that it would fly later that day along with the A10
Thunderbolt which was awesome to say the least. If you ever get the
chance to see one don't pass it up....trust me!!
If you'd like to see a short video of the P-51 and A10 doing some
fly-bys that I took that day,
(about 9 mb). I also added a few pictures (that I didn't take)
which was to help tell a short story about it. Enjoy.
