Happy 2011 everyone.
This is a little late but I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a safe New
Years.
It's been five years now since I've made that maiden voyage back in
2006, time sure flies when your having fun. I've had a great time at all
the shows that I've been to over the years and I hope that 2011 will be
just as fun as all of the other ones.
The weather here in So. Ca. has been a little wetter than normal this
year but I'm not complaining because compared to the rest
of the nation and how much snow and cold weather they're getting, we're
pretty lucky. And when it's not raining around here, the weather isn't
to bad which allows us to attend car shows almost all year round. But as
I'm writing this, it's been raining off and on, snowed a little and
we've had some marble size hail along with some thunder and lightning.
Now we don't have snow very often but when we do, everyone seems to like
it because it's few and far between. Speaking of snow, if your into
skiing you only have to drive about an hour to hit the slopes if
you're into that kind of thing.
The first show of the year for me was held at Sunnymead Hamburger's in Moreno Valley on
February 12 and the show hours ran from 4 to 8 pm. The weather was nice
till the sun went down and then the temps went into the low 50's with a
slight wind.
I'm getting a late
start this year but I hope to attend a few more shows real soon. Here are a most of
the cars that showed up that day....enjoy!
