It fits!! The end of the fuel line
(left side) will be getting some 1/2" black fuel line held on with
hose-clamps that will go through the frame (where I drilled the hole
earlier) because I wouldn't be able to slide a fitting through the hole.
I want to be able to work on it if something happens while I'm driving
so this would be the answer. The fuel line will be sharing some space
with the battery cable later so if your wondering what's up with the
clamps that have two holes in them. Lets check out the holding tank for
all this fuel.

Well what do you think this is? A mess
is the answer but under all this mess we have a fuel cell. I can't say
much for the packaging job though.

This is a 15 gallon aluminum fuel cell
made by
RCI
(Racers Choice Inc.) and is powder coated red. It has special foam
inside to help keep the fuel from sloshing around. It also has four
8AN male fittings on it. The two at the bottom are for fuel delivery. The
reason for two is in case you want to add another fuel line....like say
for....nitrous....wink, wink!! The other ones on top are for a breather and a return line,
which could be used if you had fuel injection. This model also has a
fuel sending unit which will get hooked up to my fuel gage. The cap is a
flush mount type with a quick release T-handle. I might be buying an attachment
for the cap later which would angle towards the back. This would make it
easier to fill when it's mounted in the trunk.

Looking at the bottom, we have the
fuel sump which is the lowest point in the tank by 2". This is necessary
when you want to leave hard from a standing stop because the fuel will
be thrown to the rear of the tank while accelerating. This way the engine won't starve for
fuel or run lean. There are four mounting tabs at the corners
for holding it down. Speaking of holding it down, lets move on to the
battery and see how it's going to installed.
