Another area that Bart addressed was
the rear fenders. The problem that I had was one fender was higher than
the other when measured from the ground up. Once that was fixed, he had
to add about a 1/2" of material to the top of the rear apron and
then covered it with some primer. It looks and measures much better now. I
also had a clearance problem with the rear tires being very close to the
fenders so we decided to space the fenders away by 1/4" using
washers which made a big difference. I had to place my shocks to
the highest mounting point (I have three holes to bolt them in) and now
I can drop them back to the middle hole which means the car will sit lower.

This bench is holding my entire
exhaust system which I plan on coating with a ceramic plating before I
put the engine back in. It's times like this when you wish you had a
bunch more bench space. I guess it's only going to get worse before it
gets better.

I've started taking the front-end
apart along with removing all the wiring. The wiring is going to be the
biggest headache of all the disassembly because you have to take your time
so when you put it back in, everything still works. To make sure things
still work when it goes back together, I've marked many wires with tape
and wrote notes on them. Notice the wires
coming out of both sides of the car.

Here is what the wiring harness looks
like out of the car. I put one side of the wiring in one drawer and the
other side in another drawer to keep things off the ground. I sure hope
everything works when it goes back in.
