Finishing Touches Continued
I used my side yard as my paint booth once again. As you can see, I
masked off the long pines and if you look close you can see some wooden
pins in all the holes so I didn't get paint in them.

Assembly
I'm using lacquer thinner along with some swabs to remove residual
paint from all the holes. This only took a few minutes and worked out
great.
I decided to use lock-nuts on all the screws to make sure nothing comes
loose.
I'm going to use grease on all the moving parts.
I applied some grease to areas that will be metal-to-metal, along with a
small amount on each shoulder bolt. This will make everything move nice and
smooth.
Here I'm cutting my string for my lanyards.
After I had my knots nice and tight, I burned all the ends so they
wouldn't fray.
It's Finished
Here it is all finished.
The lock pins won't get lost now and they slide in their holes nice and
smooth.
Here you can see the painted extension and the welded pins.
