33 Coupe Having Fun 22       4/07/09

The C-17 in the background it makes this row of single engine planes look small.

This is my all time favorite aircraft, the P-51 Mustang. The pilot was just getting out and securing it when I happen to walk up. Unfortunately, I was never able to see this plane fly that day. I don't know what happened to it and they tried to get another plane to take his place but I never saw it.

The P-51 was a long range single seat fighter aircraft that was used in WWII. Most of it's missions were used as a bomber escort in raids over Germany. It was armed with six .50 caliber Browning machine guns and was powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin engine. And check out that huge prop compared to most aircraft of this size. If I were to ever take flying lessons, it would eventually be to fly this aircraft.

While I was walking around, I happen to see this mom and son waiting for their dad. But what really caught my eye was something else, and no it wasn't the painted on pink pants. Can you spot it?

Here is what I was talking about. Now who carries handcuffs on their purse like this?

A minute or two later I saw this lady carrying her dog in what looked like her purse. But I think she's OK because it looks like she's a Chevy girl.
