Paint Continued
Here I'm masking off the heart from the other area in hopes I can do
two colors... that look good. This tape is made by 3M and I've used it for
years because it works really good. I put the tape on both sides of the
heart, painted the red color and then pulled the tape back off. A few
minutes later I masked over the red and painted both sides a different
color. This worked out really well as you'll see soon.

Clear Coat
Time for some spray clear to keep them looking good for many years.
And to make that happen I'm using my paint booth once again. I sprayed
the inside and sides first and the next day I did the tops.

It's Finished
Now you can see what it looks like. I mixed the color for the name
but it came out darker than I wanted. It should be a lighter pink but
once you take off the stencil, you're done.

Some nice grain on that oak and maple, however it's heavy. On the other hand,
Tony and his wife Angelica are young.

The compound angles came out just ok... but I learned what not to do next
time.

The masking tape did it's job and the two colors came out pretty good at
the top.

Here is the one that Audrey will use, which will be kept under the sink
in our guest bathroom. One thing I forgot to mention to Tracey is the
location of the four screws on top. However, by cutting the template
into smaller pieces, it was easy to avoid them so it all worked out.

The pine is much lighter than the hardwood and Audrey is able to move it
around herself.

I painted the body of the two larger butterflies light
brown, but the other two were just too small so they ended up being one
sold color. So far our granddaughter really likes hers and the other one
will be a birthday present for Ju Ju in October. These were fun to make
and I'm learning more about my new table saw every time I use it.
