My granddaughter is two years old (as of this writing)
but she will be turning three at the end of May. And when she comes over
to visit, she is asked to wash her hands before she eats dinner. But
that's hard for her to do by her self, which means someone needs to hold
her up to the sink to help with washing. And once she is ready to go
home, her mom helps her brush her teeth...again holding her.
This is where I decided to make a step stool so she
could do both of those tasks by herself. And while I'm at it, I'll be
making two of them. The second one will be for our son Tony and his
wife, because they will need one in about one year.
The one that will stay at our house will be made out of
pine (below) but Tony's will be made out of oak and maple. And I plan on
adding a little something extra to them later. The size of the stools
will be 15" L X 12" W X 11" high.
