Woodworking Continued This
sander made quick work of the 45 degree angle. Notice the work
stop on the right-hand side. This came in very handy because my work
piece wanted to move all over the place without it.

After a few seconds this is what I had
from my belt sander.
I used a sanding block and other sandpaper to soften all the edges, including the 45
degree angle.

It's Finished
This is the one with the black walnut and alder all finished. Oh, and
I used mineral oil on both of them.
Here you can see I rounded the top of the angle so the spatula slides
under the quesadilla nice and easy.
The handle is very comfortable.
This is the back which has my brand on it, otherwise both sides look the
same.
Here is the one with cherry and alder.
Nice rounded edges to fit in the hand.
My wife liked this one so I'll give the other
one to my daughter Tracey, for Christmas.
Here you can see it in action getting ready to flip our quesadilla.
And there we go, it's time for us to eat lunch.
