Aidan's Safe  24                                                12-2018

It sure looks barren in there, maybe I can make some shelves for it later.

With the clear plastic on the back, Aidan should enjoy watching all the parts move. I also used the lock-nuts at each corner in place of the normal ones I had on there earlier.

Here is what it looks like once I filled the gap under the floor (and the roof). I'll have to tell my grandson that they are not finger holes to remove that piece.

That box just clears the door frame, but it clears.

Once those lock bolts are in place, that door has no slop at all. Also, notice how close those small screws are to the edge. The chamfer goes right to the edge, but didn't break through.

The safe weights 55 pounds and should last him a lifetime. If for some reason the electronic lock fails, it can be replaced.

Oh...I almost forgot, I used 22 pieces of welding rod and each one measures 3 feet long. That equals 66 feet of welding rod and these were the small left-over pieces I had. Each one is about 1 1/4" long.

Merry Christmas buddy, I hope you enjoy your present because it took almost three months to make and was a lot of work!
