I used my sparkplug wire crimping tool for this job,
which worked out great. Seems appropriate to use this kind of tool for
this job when you think about it. Yes I know, it wasn't designed for
this but it worked.

I bought a lamp shade that I think will
work good for this, along with the color.
I quickly found out that this new lamp shade didn't fit that well so I
tweaked it to my liking.

Finished
Here is the finished lamp, although it's heavy.
The sparkplug pull knob works great and looks like it belongs there.

I don't know what made me choose the rocker arm feet for this project
but I like it.
Here you can see how the rocker arms sit flat against table.
The 1/8" pipe threads that I put in were tapered and the lamp hardware
was straight pipe. But like I said earlier I tested this combination before hand
to make sure it would work.

Close up.
The over all height is 35" tall but that's no big deal if you ask me. I
used a CFL light bulb for this project and you can see it's on in this
picture.

I think it came out pretty good and I hope my daughter Tracey thinks so too.
