The Past Pleasure's Car Club had their monthly car show on Friday, August
6th in Yucaipa. The show hours are from 6 to 9 pm but if you don't get
there early you won't find a spot. Larry and I arrived an hour and a
half early which worked out well for a decent place to park. The weather wasn't
to bad for August with temps in the mid 90's and it cooled off nice once
the sun went behind the hills. Speaking of the mild weather, I think it
contributed to the amount of cars that showed up because they had a
record crowd of over 180 cars. The later arrivals had to
park down the center rows to get a spot and I saw a bunch of cars
turning around because there weren't any more places.
They had a big raffle, a nice 50/50 drawing and a few games for the
kids. And you have your choice of a few places to eat that are close by
which is always a plus.
