They're Finished
Here is the twisted juniper lamp. And as you can see, the lamp
shade has wildlife on it. I thought this would look pretty good on this
lamp but once it arrived, I noticed something I didn't expect.

This lamp shade exceeded my expectations because of
the quality and one other thing...
Here is the other side, which I didn't expect.
And if you turn it a little more you can have trees
only. This gives you three options to look at. Very cool!
Here is the base which worked out great for this
project.
I used an LED for this lamp because it's a little
smaller than a CFL type bulb.
The felt on the bottom works great so you can
slide it on your finest furniture. Plus it hides the ugly electrical
cord. I did this for both lamps.
Here is the other lamp. I bought a more conservative
lamp shade for this one so it doesn't take too much away from what's
going on below it.
This base also worked out nicely and is very stable.
The four antlers touch one another at some point and
this is where I put a small amount of epoxy. However, you really can't
see it because it's between each one, hiding it.
These were both fun and easy to make I thought they
would make nice gifts. However, that plan changed once my wife saw them
and now they are staying in our house. That works for me!
