It's Finished
Here it is all finished. If you're wondering about the black paint
near the top, it's because I like contrasting colors.

I made sure to make the mounting plate
small enough so it doesn't get in the way if you're holding something
long.

Using socket head cap screws gives this vise stand a nice look.

That black paint covered nice and even.
|

When I had the vise apart I made sure to grease the lead screw and oil
some of the other components.

I think my son-in-law should get many years of use out of this vise.
