| I've been wanting something that folds away in place of
the old piece of plywood, which I use for finishing most of my projects.
What I like to do is hammer nails into the wood, set my project on them
and then apply my finish of choice. However, this piece of plywood has
seen better days and it's bulky as well.   |

      | What I plan on making is very simple, two
pieces of 1 X 10 X 8 foot pine that will be hinged together. This way I
can fold it up and store it much easier than the other one.

      | Some cheap hinges to attach my two pieces of pine together.

      | The hinges are underneath and out of the way, perfect! And the pine is
easy to put nails into when I'm doing finish work, like staining or a
		clear finish.

      | Here is the underside. I used four hinges total.

      | These were cheap, but they work great!

      | This was a simple and easy project but it's been long over due.
