Metal Working Continued
Here I'm milling the four pieces all to the same height and length.

Next I bored and chamfered two holes in
the exact location that I needed.

Here are the bushings I made from my old brake rod. These will go into
the holes at the end of the Bessey clamps and through the pieces above.

This should give you a better idea of what I'm doing.

Next I made some small pieces that will become the sides of my new clamp
extensions.
|

To hold the sides in place I'm going to use some 1/8 roll pins.
|

 |
Here I'm drilling and reaming the 1/8" holes for the roll pins.
|

 |
The sides are in place and now I'm working on a piece that will go
between the ends of the Bessey clamps. That center block will be held in
place
with a roll pin as well.

Things are coming together nicely.
