Painting Continued I'm using orange for the carrot and I cut the brush to a
point to have better control while using it. Also notice the eye loupe,
that came in handy to make sure I was putting paint where I wanted it.
Old eyes you know.

After a few minutes it was finished.
I gave the paint a light sanding and then shot this matte clear on both
sides of the board.
I have the board sitting on a old wooden pallet for my paint
booth. Also notice the color of the carrot now. Angela didn't like it so
I sanded the orange off, added more white to the orange to make it more
of a pastel color.

I'm using these points that clip onto my Bench Cookies made by Rockler.
These snap on the bench cookies allowing me to paint one side, wait a
few minutes, turn the board over and paint the other side.

It's Finished Here it is all finished. I like the look of the laser
and the contrast between the two species of wood.

A close-up of the grandma approved Easter font.

The rubber feet keep the board from moving.
And they make it easy to lift the board from a table.
Here you can see the roundover edge, which should make it easy to
handle.
Angela's grandma will be the caller for all the numbers. This should
make life much easier than the old board.

Bingo anyone?
