This is KD (pronounced Kaite) which stands for
"Kevin's Dog". She is a Golden Retriever and a member of the
AKC. She was born in April of 1992.

Here is Cinder a Chesapeake Bay Retriever
(8 weeks old) and is also a member of the AKC and was born in 1995.
Isn't she cute!
KD was such a great mom to Cinder
while she grew up as she taught her all about what to do and who to bark
at, etc. But after a couple of years, Cinder became the dominate dog
between the two.

Cinder would run and chase anything and everything
that came into the yard. This happen to be a bad day for this squirrel.

Here we have a king snake that I found when I came
out to feed one morning. And yes it's dead.
|

|
Cinder loved to chase things that I
would throw for her including any ball, Frisbee, stick...you name it and
she would retrieve it. This new soccer ball replaced the one
she wore out which you can see in the next picture.

One other thing she did was smile for me when I would
come into the backyard. Unfortunately, Cinder passed away unexpectedly
at about 10 years old and I never found out why.

Here's my buddy KD kickn' it in the backyard. She
lived a long and happy life.
