33 Coupe Having Fun 8       6/10/12

The 16th. annual 'Redlands Professional Firefighters' car show was held on May 27th. and the turnout was very good. Last year it rained most of the day and people stayed away because of the weather.

The show hours went from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and we arrived just after 6:00 to get a good parking place. Lots of car were already at the show and by the end of the day over 350 cars were in attendance.

This show has a huge raffle, 50/50 drawing and a pancake breakfast that runs from 7 to 10 am. Speak of food, there were lots of venders that had about anything you wanted but we decided to eat right across the street at Betty's Burgers.

The weather was cool in the morning but turned out to be a perfect day with sunny skies but mid day and temps in the high 70's. Let's check out a few of the many cars that made the show.

We were parked right in front of this jewelry store and when we walked around to the side of it, this is what we saw. Looks like someone had a good time with that window the night before.

Here is a close-up of the window which is over an inch thick. Glass was all over the place on the inside but I never saw anyone open the store to do any cleanup during the day.

These custom made screwdrivers were right across from us and looked pretty nice. If you didn't like any of the ones he had you could custom order anything you liked.
